Afternoon pick up for visit to a Bird Park. It is the home to more than 3,000 birds of approximately 200 species of local and foreign birds. Visitors will have an exciting experience of watching colourful and melodic birds perching and winging about freely while relaxing in a natural and beautifully landscaped surrounding. KL Bird Park is also reputed to be the largest walk-in free-flight aviary in the world.
After complete the tour transfer back to hotel.
After the observation deck, experience the animal zone. The KL Tower animal zone is definitely the place you are looking for wide range of rare and exoticanimals can be found here, ranging from massive python, cheeky capuchin monkey to the cuddly rabbit.
Later, we will bring you to the largest aquarium in Malaysia. Aquaria KLCC. Nestled in the heart of the bustling “Golden Triangle” of Kuala Lumpur and within walking distance from the Petronas Twin Towers, Aquaria KLCC is a state-of-the-art oceanarium showcasing over 5,000 different exhibits of aquatic and land-bound creatures over a sprawling 60,000 square-foot space in the Concourse Level of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Our Oceanarium boasts a 90 meter transparent tunnel with a moving walkway to take you past Sand Tiger Sharks, Giant Stingrays, Marine turtles and shoals of other fishes.
In the evening you will be pick up for a fireflies tour. Kuala Selangor is only 1½ hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur and yet it has much to offer, especially to those who wish to take a peek at Malaysian rural life. Fishing and farming are the main occupations here, although a large part of the area has also been cultivated with both palm oil and rubber.
Upon arrival, you will visit Bukit Melawati. An ideal site for monitoring shipping in the Straits of Melaka, Bukit Melawati once contained two forts. This is followed by a sumptuous local seafood dinner, after which you will be treated to the highlight of the evening – firefly watching. You will be taken upstream by boat to watch thousands of fireflies flickering like Christmas lights in mangrove trees which line the banks of the river. After this tour, you will be driven back to the city.
Leave the hotel in the morning and drive through the scenic Malaysia countryside to the Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary Camp, located in Kuala Gandah, We shall have early lunch before we arrive at the centre where you learn how the Department of Wildlife & National Parks of Malaysia continuously manages the conservation of the elephants and its habitats.
Please wear comfortable shoes, cap/hat and bring along a bath towel and spare clothing in case you get wet.
Late evening, return to Kuala Lumpur city.
Time for local lunch (own expenses) before departing via boat, which is the only means of transportation into this enclosed area. The slow boat ride itself is one to enjoy – the wonders of nature will begin to enfold; the lush greens showing, exotic fish and even the occasional monitor lizards swimming up and down beckon.
At the end of the journey, the Mutiara Taman Negara Resort lies – check in.The day is not over – time for a little stroll in the dark as we take you on the mysterious Night Jungle Walk. Dinner served at resort.
Then, it’s time for a good night’s rest to prepare you for more adventure tomorrow.
Trekking through the canopy walk and Bukit Teresek, where picturesque trails, beautiful skies and a symphony of sounds – some insects, some animals, some trees bustling in the wind, greet you.
Time for lunch at the resort (own expenses)
Then it’s off for another excursion at Lata Berkoh, which you will be brought to via boat. Time to enjoy the water – take a dip in the clear water or relax by the river bank. After a long adventurous day, time for dinner and rest at the resort
Cross the river by water taxi boat to Kuala Tahan Jetty. Meet with your driver and proceed by overland to Cameron Highlands, leaving only memories behind of the adventure and mystery.
Time for lunch (own expenses) at a local restaurant before continuing overland journey to Cameron Highland via the inland route passing through tropical rain forest
Arrive in Cameron Highlands and check in to your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the butterfly farm. At 1,500 meters above sea level, Cameron Highlands is home to a number of birds and insects not found in the lowlands. A selection of the unusual butterflies, moths and insects indigenous to the area can be found at butterfly farms in the Green Cow area.
Get a change to see many different species of butterflies which used to be a common sight in the highlands many years ago. A walk through an enclosed area where each species of butterfly is happily floating around in a lush, plant-filled garden is the highlight.
Late evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner “Steamboat”. Refer to several East Asian varieties of stew, consisting of a simmering metal pot of stock at the center of the dining table. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table.
Late evening transfer to your hotel for accommodation.
Proceed with the journey to the Pangkor Island with en-route sightseeing stop.
Sam Poh Tong Temple:Sam Poh Tong, discovered in 1912, is a Chinese Buddhist Temple within a natural limestone hill. Developed by the Buddhist community and now has become an international tourist spot attracting visitors from all over the world. Among the main attractions there are a beautifully decorated pavillion in front of the temple and a landscaped garden with a fish pool, which was awarded ” The Best Landscaped garden” in Malaysia 1993.
Kellie’s Castle:The ruins of Kellie’s Castle an amazing mansion from the early 19th century with an impressive story. It is surrounded by mystery with much speculation among locals about hidden rooms and secret tunnels. A wealthy British Plantation owner, William Kellie Smith, commissioned the building of the castle, which was to be the home of his son. The wonder of Kellie’s Castle was the conversation topic both locally and overseas during that time. However, William Kellie Smith died before the castle could be completed. Today it is nicely restored and accessible to all.
Arrive into Lumut, the nearest town on the mainland to Pangkor Island. You will be transported in the Pangkor Island by ferry.Check-in to Resort.
Rest of the day is free at leisure till check out.
Take the mid noon ferry to Lumut before continuing overland journey back to Kuala Lumpur City. This overland transfer is approx. 05 hours depending on traffic. Stop for refreshment before continuing journey back to Kuala Lumpur or drop of at KLIA.
Visit the archaeological museum. Proceed for the island of Penang and the Kek Lok Si Temple where a big statue dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy dominates the scene. Check in to your hotel.
Late afternoon transfer back to hotel.
Transfer to Penang airport for your onwards flight.
